"We stopped at Lodge 58 in Dayton, Ohio. Good thing it was Wednesday, as they are ONLY open Wednesday and Friday from 6-10 pm. They have Bingo both nights, which was fun. No draft beer or bottles of wine, to keep costs down. We were told that the average age is 80 and they only have about 100 registered members, most of whom don’t attend functions. Cans of beer, limited spirits, and mini wine bottles were decently priced. No real food but you could partake in the bags of snacks on the snack table, order a nuke-a-pretzel, or odrder food for delivery. We hooked up to a 110 outlet, which was great for our fan. The “camping” spot is tucked away behind the building and is quiet and mostly secluded. Large property taken care of by Lodge member (and Bingo-caller) Morris was well-kept. Very friendly people!"

"May 17, 2022. Google says the Elks is open. We were very excited to visit the Elks on our way thru Ohio to Tulsa, Ok. Got there and it was closed. Very dissapointed!"
